Professor Dauda has received several awards including Best Paper Award in Economics at the 5th International Business Research Conference, Dubai 2007, and the UNILAG Faculty of Social Sciences Best Researchers Award 2018. She has benefited from travel grants from PASGR, RETRIDOL, and FALCONESS to Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, and Germany. Internationally, she mentors women in economics, chairs the Health Economics Working Group at the University of Birmingham, and serves as a jury member for the WAIFC Young Academic Award. She is currently leading a TETFUND/IBR project on Fintech and financial literacy. A member of NES, IAFFE, NIM and other professional bodies, Professor Dauda is happily married with children.
